Smart PoE+ 802.3af/802.3at support
The GS1200 series supports the IEEE 802.3at standard, providing a maximum of 30 watts per port (with a maximum total power budget of 60 watts) to supply power to PoE network devices such as wireless APs, IP cameras, and VoIP phones. Web GUI management allows you to monitor the power status of each port and/or reboot the network devices as needed.

IGMP Snooping for optimized traffic delivery
Based on Internet Group Management Protocol (IGMP) query and report messages, the switch forwards traffic only to the ports requesting the multicast traffic rather than to all ports. It helps optimize multicast performance and is particularly useful for bandwidth-intensive IP multicast applications such as streaming media and online gaming.

VLAN segregation for improved network security
VLAN (virtual local area network) can be used to separate traffic within an enterprise, such as isolating resources between network administrators and general users or between employees and public guest users.
